I'm speaking at eBay DevCon 2008

I'm pleased to announce that I'll be speaking at Ebay DevCon in Chicago, June 16-17. For those not familiar with the event, Ebay puts on this annual conference for all the developers who build/integrate on their platform. You might not be doing too much with the Ebay's APIs but I'm sure most have needed to integrate with PayPal. Personally, I want to find out more about the Skype development options. With the impending VoiP features in Pacifica, I'm curious if we could leverage the Skype network in our Flash/Flex applications.

I'm going to be talking about Flex and AIR (with plenty of biased and shameless plugs for ColdFusion). The talks will mostly be introductions to the Adobe platform, but with demonstrations on how to leverage all the cool Ebay services. If anyone else is going to be out there drop me a line (and I'll buy you a drink).

Here is a little bit more on the conference:

With a rich set of Web services focused on e-commerce—and millions of users worldwide—the eBay family of companies offers savvy developers an array of web development platforms and tremendous business opportunities. Join us for eBay Developers Conference 2008 and learn what's available, what's new, what's possible, and how to make money from your code!
