Send Me Your Problems w/ CF Support

You might have noticed I tweeted about being on hold with Adobe Customer Service so I could learn firsthand what the experience was like as a ColdFusion customer. It's unfortunate, but I've been fielding an increased number of complaints about Customer Service and Technical Support these past few months. Some reports just sounded too outlandish to be true, so I decided to investigate for myself.

How do _you_ Flex?

The Adobe Learning Resource team has posted a very brief survey on how ColdFusion developers are using Flex. This is the same team at Adobe that writes all the great ColdFusion documentation, including the awesome ColdFusion Developers Guide (PDF). If you would spare 5 minutes of your time to answer some questions, it could lead to better resources and documentation for ColdFusion developers when Flex 4 is released!

CFinNC : (not a) Keynote

Check out the Adobe keynote from CFinNC, a regional ColdFusion/Flex conference in Raleigh, NC. Actually, it's not really a keynote. It's more of a general session. Since it was just one week after MAX and the official launch of ColdFusion 9, there are no new surprises here. This presentation is an overview of ColdFusion 9 and ColdFusion Builder w/o any marketing!

ColdFusion 9 DVD Contains ColdFusion 8

We've received a number of reports regarding an error with the DVD replication process for ColdFusion 9. It appears that some of the physical media DVDs for ColdFusion 9 contain the installers for ColdFusion 8. While the DVD label and packaging say "ColdFusion 9", it is in fact the ColdFusion 8 DVD. The serial number enclosed on the packaging is correct and will work with a ColdFusion 9 installer.
